I also wondered why the twins never caught up with Cara Walker either? Surely if Jessica was really that good a friend she'd jump at the opportunity to see her? Maybe she can't compete with princesses, theatre actresses and warewolves? Lol. And had to laugh at your comment, maybe America is that safe? Double lol. Not from what I saw of the U.S. when I visited:)
This is a very good question, and one that didn't occur to me when I read the book, as I got into SVH post-Cara so I always forgot she'd existed... still, maybe she moved to actual!London as opposed to this strange foggy wolfish version :)
Haha Cara was always one of my favourites so I was curious. I always suspected the Wakefields had amnesia or a reverse kind of dementia-they could only remember those in their current circumstances, not the ones in the past regardless of their significance. The minds of the Wakefields, boogles the rest of us!:)
Haha, well, they've also got about thirty years worth of school to remember, it must be strange for them :D perhaps they're some kind of immortal-like being for whom time and humans have different meaning?
Sorry to hear about your husband. I remember that when I read these books as a teenager I kind of accepted cheating due to grand passion as something adults (and American high school students) Just Did and now I think it's very much not okay!
Oh by the way, I'm divorced now regard my earlier comment. Pretty sure he cheated so my disgust at Liz's behaviour deepens! Nothing excuses cheating. Not being in love, or in my ex's case not sexuality. We are all responsible for our own choices and can choose to do the right thing.
