I hate stories where popular girls are threated with unpopularity because they've been caught doing something not-so-cool. Here's why: If you're already popular, you can show up with green teeth and hang around with "special" kids three years younger than you, and you'll still be cool. If you're unpopular, you can have the trendiest clothes, be related to movie stars, win the lottery, and you'll still be unpopular, because that's just the way it works.

I was really impressed with Jessica in this book. It was actually a genuinely good book.
