 If I had known as much about the Winterreise cycle when I picked it as I do now, I probably would have found something else to perform, or extracted portions. This cycle is a dark parallel to many things I experienced. Its unsettling.

The show goes on. 

The world has come full circle and I still feel mid-arc.

Some familiar drama has blown open. A person I had a fair deal of conflict with last semester is starting up nonsense again, but this time it is with someone completely different.  So this was an unusual weekend. I kept staying up drinking until the wee hours of the morning, feeling drained the next day and only managing to get a little work done. What does this tell you? My unusual weekend is a typical college experience. Ha! I love my life.

Side note: Tequila + Rum + Me = Groggy morning.

 To alleviate my fears I searched the number of Aldi stores in Minneapolis. I think I'll be ok. 

I write that the core of the human being is peace. Not because it is requirement, but it is the power of our thoughts that shape so much of who we are.
