OK. I have held my tongue for years of this, but I no longer can. I don't know where the voices of all the moderates have gone, but that's another post. I am tired. So tired of all the yelling and taking of sides. I have lost faith in people, our government, the system and the possibility that anything will ever change

Well stated Carolyn! I don't necessarily agree 100% on every point but we have so very much common ground that we can certainly discuss the minor differences sanely! I think most people I know would also be open to a sane discussion, as I feel David and I have had today. Unfortunately, our discussions have no bearing on the hyper-polarized political powers and media that are capitalizing on these tragedies.
