My main girl was a former army general (in a previous 'lifetime'), so she's actually really pleased to see that the Other Side (what her race calls Earth) actually seems to care about the soldiers. Even if they fight over petty matters instead of working together. But, that's neither here nor there.
She's going to go home (her people had to relocate for their own safety) and say a prayer at the cemetery. And they may do something in the new city, to give the people a chance to remember their loved ones.
Let's not talk about last week. I wrote nothing for three days straight. Nothing, not even a blog post, which is very unusual for me. Ugh. But, I seem to be back on track thankfully.
As for Veteran's Day, we're celebrating in our usual manner... by forcing our children on our favorite veteran (my FIL).
Anyway, Tuesdays are better than Mondays anyway, so I'd have waited, too. :D
