Hello, all! How was your weekend? How has Monday treated you? I am off this week, which you would think means some time to myself. I'm still searching for that rare commodity, but ....there is hope and I'm determined to eake some out soon

I failed words over the weekend...but I made a doll blanket and did a bunch of plotting and researching and note taking for a rabid plot bunny...
Intended words this morning too since I came in early...but started working almost as soon as I sat down, so that didn't happen either.
thankfully we'll have 2 weeks off after this week, but I feel like I'm failing on the words :/

That's some fine creativity - and sometimes one has to have a planning day or three. I've seen you be incredibly creative with the prompts, and on a dime! I'm sure the words will be flowing soon, when you have some time.

I'm not expecting to get to this plot bunny for awhile...I've got some other things to write first. But I'm hoping if I get some of this out of my head I can go back to focus on other things.
Think I'm in a 'crafting' mode rather than writing. Which is good for the mountain of crafts I have waiting for me and not so good for the words ;)

Damn near got blown away myself. Not as bad as Kentucky though.

Work is still good.

Still waiting for an apartment to open up.

My great-nephew turns two on Saturday. Time certainly flies.

That was a heck of a storm. I don't think I've ever see one stretch the whole length of the coast- so weird.

They do grow and change fast. My great-nephew has made this big leap where we really can't talk with him like a little kid anymore, and he's only five.

I am slowly making my way through all the gift exchanges I signed up for including my Swap of Joy gift. I forgot how many I signed up for this year. I meant to be writing this weekend but instead, I spent it watching Christmas movies.

I hear you on that. I let a key week go by w/o getting much done for the holidays- now I'm back to the usual of figuring out gifts, etc with only ten days to go. Ah well....

We got the train sounds here too. It didn't last exceptionally long, but it surprised me that more damage wasn't done. My heart does bleed for those so badly hit.

I wondered if it was still roaring when it got to you all. Glad it didn't go for hours and hours- it's actually wearing after the first four or so, lol.

We've got a ways to go, but the downstairs floor is done, which is a huge plus.

Rain is always welcomed, but it was cold as heck last night. LOL
