Added another 2k to my WIP and should finish a chapter today. That should put me at the 1/2-2/3 mark, depending on how this chapter ends.
I want to finish this WIP this week so I can get to work on a big bang I signed up for. WHY I don't know, I can rarely ever get anything to 10k, but here we are.
Ugh, working retail sucks, period. After a storm like what you've gone through, I can't even imagine. Enjoy your time off and good luck with the fics. :)
Thanks! Have already added a few hundred words to the WIP. Argh, I feel your pain. I'm lucky to get half that in any of my stuff, so it'll be a challenge. WE CAN DO THIS!
Indeed it is! Went to the pet store yesterday to get crickets and was greeted by a herd of small mixed-breeds up for adoption. One was a Chi mix named Taco. I wanted to take her home for many reasons. But, my cat probably outweighed her by a good 4 or 5 lbs, so she stayed where she was.
finished my edits...and am picking up with one of my WIP (though not the rp bit of it, that is still waiting for my co-author...*sigh*) I've been meaning to look at all my prompts, to see if I can fit them into what I'm working on now...but haven't done that yet.
Now if only the allergies and sinuses would behave, I'd be a happy camper...and if I could manage like a week off from work :/
I always add things in my edits...words or sentences here or there. Lately I've learned to extract them too...streamline sentences or paragraphs...better than I used to. Gotta do that with my book that leads into this year's NaNo next...but gonna do some of this other stuff first and save all of that for major NaNo prep in October I think. Have to find all those notes too.
