So in the volunteer poll, I mentioned wanting to do a weekly prompt (and or discussion) on darker themes, and it was not rejected out of hand by mod types. So I thought I'd gauge wider interest (and maybe ask how you make a tag). [long and rambling]The idea would be a weekly topic of the sort that generally shifts your fic in the ratings by its prescence alone, which

I'm just going to say this... I cut my teeth reading horror novels (and Little House on the Prairie, but whatever) so darker and more disturbing themes are an attraction of mine. I definitely say go for it. I mean, in the end, if it's a train wreck, at least we know it, right, and can abandon it at any time, if needed.

I think they could prompt interesting discussions and I think we're all mature enough.
one topic I'm interested in seeing covered is domestic violence that isn't sexual. I have an upcoming project that includes this and it would help my muse to discuss the angles I have in mind that ensures that anything sexually related is not included because that is how I have created the abuser OC.

Heh, Stephen King and Laura Ingalls were both big influences on my early years as well. ;-)
Thanks for the encouragement. Any topics you think would be good?
