[Misaka has been sitting on her front porch for the past while simply wasting time. After the whole Soviet thing, she hasn't been doing to well. She's definitely being too harsh on herself since she couldn't help any during the entire thing

[At this point, Ema wishes she's made more of an effort to get to know the two teenagers living in her house. Neither of them is doing very well emotionally, and she's not at all sure how to deal with it effectively. They're good kids, though, so she'd like to help somehow.]

You want to take a walk or something, Misaka?

Huh? Sure, I guess.

[Small smile.] Beats sitting here being miserable, at any rate. Might as well take advantage of the nice weather; come on.

[Standing up.] Can we stop by the store while we're out?

[Don't mind Scout, he's just trying to run down the street and failing. He still can't understand that he's lost his ability to run fast, and it shows, since after every attempt, he curses.]

Dis is freakin' ridiculous!

[Finally giving up for the time being, he starts to head back home but spots a young woman sitting on a porch electricity coming out from her hands. What in the world? He rushes (well, tries to) over to her and stares in awe.]

Whoa. How'd ya do dat?

Uh...do what? You mean the electricity?

[vitalizes]

Yeah! I'd love ta learn how ta do dat.

I don't think you can. It's an ability unique to me.

[Taiga is, as usual, wandering around just a bit very lost. She's quite frustrated, and probably never going to figure out these streets, but the sight of Misaka cheered her up a--woah woah wait a second, that was... electricity?!

She stares wide-eyed before dashing up the porch.]

Wh-what's that?!

S-Sorry. I guess I wasn't paying attention. Uh...they gave me my powers back. Probably as some kind of reward, I don't know.

[tsuntiger]

No, that's cool! [She may be imagining herself taking down people down with it for a moment...]

Oh, like my uniform? I want your reward...

At least yours looks nice? My power is pretty dangerous...not that I care too much about that. The scientist rate me as third most powerful where I'm from.

[ Apollo was riding along on his bike, trying to figure out where his workplace is in relation to his house (All these houses look exactly the same!), but after catching a glimpse of Misaka he may or may not have narrowly avoided crashing into a mailbox out of surprise.

Let me tell you, he is one cool customer. ]

Ah, yes! I'm totally fine! [ At this point, he's gotten off the bike and is doing a quick survey of damage -- nothing noticable to the bike or the mailbox, thank goodness. The only casuality is Apollo's dignity, but it's not like that doesn't take a beating on a regular basis. ]

Um... Not to be rude, but is that lightning you're playing with?
