It was really interesting reading Ray's perspective. I'm glad he came to some kind of understanding of Sam, although it was too late.

Thank you. When I was looking at the fic, I was trying to figure out the best way to approach it, then Ray just made one comment, and it all went from there.

I think you did a very good job, and I liked reading this from Ray's perspective. Particularly that last bit, when he's the one to drive Gene around now that he's too sick to do so himself.

Must agree with the others I love the way you have chosen to do this from Ray's perspective. It gives a great perspective to the events and I like how you show how Ray has changed throughout as much as it being about how Sam has left a space in all their lives.

You know, the one thing I absolutely have no quibble with about A2A is that we got a greater insight into Ray's character. And your fic does that too; brilliantly and gracefully. Apparently Ray is himself like many good sorts of spirits, with flavours and shades that develop and deepen and mellow with age.
