I was so enthused about Justin's start today that I forgot I would be in class for it. Not fair! But I'm very excited nonetheless, and I've got a very good feeling about him today. Tito is starting Jed, but not at short (he'll be at third), so Justin needs to make sure he knows where to wink.

For Mike? If I could be there, I totally would! (I'm definitely getting up there once this summer...)

Justin had me so giddy last night. I was just on a total high when I found out he'd been called up to make the start...And he totally lived up to everyone's expectations, too!

(Also, my parents liked my idea of using the Triple-A All-Star Game to get in a game at Yankee Stadium before it closes...I really hope we can land tickets. We'll probably be the only ones there without radar guns!)

Okay, so I can't get there tomorrow, but there's a chance I'll go Saturday... hopefully... I hope...

I got in from NYC at 11 last night so I didn't bother to check the news until I woke up this morning (at noon or so). I immediately screamed, jumped around like the psychotic madwoman I am, and sprinted to the TV to turn on the pre-game. (Yeah, that's how I roll. Vacation ftw.)

I would totally go to the Triple-A All-Star Game! I am going to Yankee Stadium in August, though... three times... :D

Speaking of ballpark trips, my first trip to McCoy is in 31 days. WIN.

I yelled out, "HOLY FREAKING SHIT!" in my dorm room. I'm sure everyone on the floor thinks something really crappy happened to me now. The rest of the night I was so giddy I probably sounded stoned. (But he and Jed were together for a day...! It was the thought of what stupid things they might get up to that just got me so damn excited...that and him getting a big league start. And he kicked ass and took names!)

I just bought MiLB cards - they had them in my local Wal-Mart! - and I'm posting the scans of the Sox prospect cards I got. No Jed or Justin, though, which made me sad. But I did get some names everyone'll recognize!
