I played The Oregon Trail once when I was a little girl with my father. We made it to Oregon, but the stress was too great for my six-year-old body and mind and I never touched the game again. It was an updated version of the game, and now that I look back on it, it lacked the charm of the original Apple II version by MECC. (MECC is also ( Read more... )

I have to agree. That's just asking for it. And with all the celebrities, too...there's so many options to play with this one!

(adds it to her list of things she will hopefully someday get to...)

I think I could take a whirly go at this I dunno who should sing lead though: Jacoby or Clay. I kinda wanna do it as Jacoby and have him be like "Fangirls, I appreciate all the love you send me, but there's something you must know" *mad strumming* I'M FUCKING CLAY BUCHHOLZ! and so on

edit: I wanted to change my icon...it was making kitty scared

That's great! You've gotta do it!

(Jacoby playing the guitar is also a very pretty mental image. But we won't go there.)

..............I'm laughing so hard right now. A++++

Thank you for making me one of your twelve reads. I warn you, I started out on LJ with two friends and ended up with...130. Also the two friends I started with are no longer on my flist. I've been on LJ too long.

(no, I'm not going to prompt you to use Storybook Weaver to make Sox stories either. I used to use that when I was babysitting, and mainly used the fairy-tale stuff. The things I do to entertain kids.)

Storybook Weaver has made me laugh harder than any other computer program ever. I would write inappropriate things and then use the text-to-speech option, and I'd drop to the floor or start crying because it was just that funny.

I started with very few friends on LJ, too (mostly my friends from high school) - people tended to sort of...find me over time, which is how I started to branch out. I'm so glad I've started exploring a little more on my own now, too, though! (I used to have an LJ a long time ago, but I stopped writing in it - I restarted this one almost a year ago.)

Justin's also wearing a shirt that says "Rick Astley is my homeboy." I promise that this will be explained in an installment or two.

You must icon them! I did! Actually, I iconed Jed back in October or so of last year for my Arizona Fall League posts (and then became slowly addicted to the use of the icon and started finding excuses to use it...but we all know why that is, unfortunately!).

Aww, thanks! That makes me feel less dorky about actually drawing this...

But that's the second best way to go! It only falls short of drowning in a river that's too deep to ford...
