My mom does the same thing about money. I think they are just trying to make sure you are okay.

You should talk to this boy in your class! Even if you only start your conversation about assignments and stuff like that, you could become friends possibly? *pushes*

You have good baseball luck! xD

I think so, too - I just wish they'd make sure I was okay in a way that didn't restrict me so much. But I do know they love me, at least.

I hope it goes well! I mean, I'm notoriously unlucky in this field, but it's worth a go, at least!

I do - except for the part last night where Frenchy was sent to the Rangers. Although I don't mind the Rangers, so he's in a good place.

I think we're starting to work it out, but it was just...yeah. I almost felt like they didn't trust me to live on my own and be independent. It hurt, to be honest, but at least they're starting to see where I'm coming from, I think...

I am intrigued by Kai Gronauer--he appears to be that (perhaps not so) rara avis, a good-hitting catcher who just maaaaay not be a defensive liability. Or am I wrong? I know squat about the Mets system.

Brewers have Jeremy Jeffress and Mike McClendon assigned to Surprise, but you can see them get overworked in MLB right now. McClendon is, um, interestingly used ;_;

as long as we don't get any more incidents like the Outfield Grass 1, Stephen Strasburg 0 one right before the championship game, this season should be decent. (I only bring that up because I was running a liveblog about the game, where the users were both confused about that and about the fact that Zach Braddock was pitching when he shouldn't have been.)

I haven't gotten a good look at him myself yet, so I'm hoping that's what he turns out to be!

Oh gosh...why send players who've already gotten a ton of reps/at-bats/innings in? I just...don't understand that.

Oh, boy, fingers crossed! I'm so excited for things to get going again - this is one of my favorite things ever!

I should have rephrased that. Both Jeffress and McClendon are going to be used like used things this September as the rest of the Brewers bullpen is of an unreliable flavor but neither of them pitched a lot of innings in the minor leagues this year. Jeffress was coming off a marijuana-related suspension (100 games) and only has 33IP in 2010. McClendon has about 81 total IP in 3 levels this year. That may seem like a lot but he is a long reliever anyway.

That makes much more sense - I can see why they'd send them off to Arizona in that case! And they surely must have potential for them to be going out there, too - poor things being overused in September, though...
