Wait, why aren't any channels related to Nickelodeon working right now?

Today I saw a cake explode. No, really. A certain individual actually has video of the making and eventual destruction of this cake and will post them eventually.

I also saw that the Mets both won and ended up with Trot Nixon today. I never thought I'd see Trot play somewhere I could see him again in a thousand years! The Sox unfortunately lost, ( Read more... )

The Mets should be able to use a healthy, NOT OLD outfielder because obviously the aged aren't useful. (And Church and Pagan are still on the DL. Ha.) But yay for reunion between Pedro and Trot Nixon!

Jay Bruce, say whhhuuut?

I'm hoping this Trot trade works out okay...I'm keeping my fingers crossed. But the reunion is just so cute! I'm really excited for that!

He is INSANE. I love watching that kid.

I was all psyched to see Justin vs Jay... and then Jay went and hit a home run. BOO. Not what I wanted to see out of that one. Oh well. He pitched awesomely--9 Ks in 6.2 innings? Oh yeah.

Also, Trot + Mets = not... registering. I want him back.

I cannot confirm nor deny the reaction of mine that may or may not have been giddiness because I will admit when I heard Trot Nixon and Mets in the same sentence my ears perked up considerably. Given I have before gushed a wee bit about my really really weird pairing, yeah. I got a little happy and gleeful. Yes, I am slightly loserly today.

Wake is starting tomorrow -- man do I hope he gets a hit and then Jacoby hits a triple...just to see Wake try to score from first again. That would be epic. Because nothing is funnier than watching Tim Wakefield run the bases.

When I realized that he'd be back with Pedro, you were the first person I thought of! I'm so excited to see him play, too - I'll keep my eyes open to see how he does with the Mets! (Too bad Clemens isn't still playing...I love watching Trot tee off of him.)

I really wish Wake had to leg out a triple today...I was a bit disappointed when he didn't have to. (I kind of liked how Sean Casey did his recording of the lineup earlier and there was that last-minute change, so when Alex Cora's name came up he said Lugo's instead, though. Whoops, FOX! At least Remy was there too today! That made my day.)

Nick and co. are probably not working because the satellite that carries them is kind of on t3h fritz. Or at least this is what I recall seeing in an email at work this morning.

Ah, thank you! That would explain why it kept glitching horribly last night...

Huge Trot fan here! I'm so excited he is back in the majors. He has always had to work hard at his game, and, once again, it has paid off for him.

::adds Mets website to favorites::

Justin pitched a good game last night. 9 K's! Thumbs up. Too bad the boys couldn't put more than 1 run on the board.

I can't wait to see him play! I'm going to keep an eye out for him on SNY...they might use him soon!

I really hate when the offense just stalls like that and doesn't back up a good start. Justin pitched beautifully, too!

exploding cake?!?

I feel so bad for Trot, his situation sucks.

(And I'm sure he and Jed are talking about hitting right now, complete with a lot of giggling on Jed's side.)
hehehe I love picturing that.

Yeah - I put too much batter in the pan, and it inflated and cracked open like a fault line! It was pretty cool, actually. And I got to eat the ruined cake for lunch!

At least he's back with Pedro - that should be fun to watch. (I'll keep an eye out for him on TV soon!)

...I have to admit that I do, too. Anything involving Jed giggling stupidly just gets me.

It was supposed to have chocolate icing, but I never got to the icing part...I failed. I just finished the remade version, though!

I'm going to have my camera ready if they do anything cute!

I do, too! I really can't wait for him to get up again...I'm looking forward to September big-time!
