I logged on to Yahoo! to check my e-mail this, erm, afternoon, and
this story was on the front page. The only way I can really describe this is, well, bizarre. Incredibly bizarre.

Also, Commander Kickass is on the mound. I didn't watch yesterday's game because a) it was late and b) it was Wakefield pitching (I love his knuckler, but really, it does get a bit... repetitive) and c) I was exhausted out of my mind, but even a 1:00 AM start couldn't stop me from watching this one.

I keep missing games because I keep getting dragged around places! (One of my friends is more of a football person and doesn't understand why I have to be there for all 162 games, I think.) But since I'm not doing anything today...it's so on. (I will miss tomorrow, presuming it's a 1:00 start, though - but that's only because of the Indy 500.)

Well, they're on the West coast, so it's a 4:05 start. (Irony--I just glanced at the clock and it's 4:05 right now!) But I was so mad about yesterday--I fell asleep and then Huston pitched. I hope he pitches again tonight, because I might not be able to watch tomorrow either...

Oh, that's actually perfect - the race should be over by then, and my other Sox-loving friend will be here, so we can listen to them together on the radio! (I hope so, too...that would be nice.)

Yay, Nintendo! (I was reading some of the other comments above). I actually kind of like the Marlins, too. After all, they gave us Josh and Mikey AND they beat the Yankees in the World Series in 2003, so I guess we're kind of in debt to them.

I am such a Nintendo geek. I was subscribed to Nintendo Power for the longest time...Oh, yes, nothing against the Marlins. It's cool to see them playing so well this year - the Rays, too.
