In which I prove that Jed Lowrie is an anime character, and then some

Gosh, I just can't seem to help missing games lately! It's been driving me up the wall - I actually get stressed out when I don't know the score! The boys apparently lost a heartbreaker tonight, too...eh, one more and they'll have Thursday off, which means that if I don't have anything on the agenda I might live-blog the PawSox game or something.

That music is very hypnotizing. I was bobbing my head to it as I was watching. I saw it more as a Sakaeguchi/Cake pairing love thing!

OH OH OH OH OH!!! Speaking of pairings I love! blinding_voip is reading Mike Lowell's book and sent me an excerpt from the book in which, according to her "Goes on for about a page and a half about Cora" and she was liek "I mean with guys like Papelbon he only spent like...a sentence". And well...he sounds a little smitten. What do you think?:

As the monotony of spring progressed, it was people like Alex Cora, one of our infielders, who would always remind me why I love this game so much. Alex is one of the best teammates I've ever had, and a true friend. As the exhibition season wore on, he would always be up for simply sitting in front of his locker at the far end of the home team's clubhouse and talking. There might have been more than seven months of baseball talk laid out in front of us, but for me and Alex, there was no time like the present ( ... )

It really makes me wonder if Jed's been secretly hiding a cake addiction from us all this while... (Hey, I did make a beaver cake with a friend, and we did eat it, so maybe!) And that is the most ridiculously catchy song EVER. I can't stop listening to it!

This line did it for me: What do they say, "The first sign of addiction is denial"? Hmmm, Mikey. That one...yeah. But Alex's dedication is just so wonderful! I love seeing that in a bench player!

Yeah I'm not entirely sure where he was going with that. I think Bradford was trying to put a little subtext in there(he ghostwrote it and no I am not lying). Also, I kinda am amused that Alex was a bit of a dick in his college years. But then again, given what Alex had gone through early in life(he lost his father when he was 13) and how he talked about how college was where he went "from a boy to a man", I can sorta understand. Oh and the whole "older brother is a ballplayer thing" could've gone to his head too.

Oh and character "much more than words" hmmmmm....Bradford at it again :P I keed I keed. But I seriously am in love with that excerpt. Though they better watch out if Dustin doesn't get any wise ideas now...because you know he'll do something about it.

...oh, Bradford, where would we be without you and your implications? And I can totally see where Alex was coming from, too - I can understand him being like that, especially given that background...

Dustin may have just gained some serious material for Wedding Two.

I have to watch that video now. Slowly but surely. And then have someone post it.

And that sequence is so great. I loves it. And that epic post will be interesting to read. (And thank you--the pictures of Sakaeguchi will make clay!Sakaeguchi 100x easier to make...)

And haircut...I needs one. >.>;;

Yes. Hanai could use a little revenge, couldn't he? There's definitely a little slash in there...

I can't get over that scene! It's my favorite scene in the show! I mean, Abe actually laughs, damnit! (Not a problem! I have too many pictures of that kid...probably because he reminds me of Jed.)

I hadn't gotten one since Thanksgiving! It was getting ridiculous...I've got it nice and short again.

Yes!!! Plus, he has something else to post about! AND AN ICON.

I love it too...it's just fun and cute. (Well, I'm glad not to get him wrong then. They just need another 5 minutes!)

My last one was...January 13. It was AAAAWKARD ("where's mom?!?!" "...she died." xD). Mine's not TOO long yet, but I just want to go. I need to talk to Nancy.

Hanai has an icon? Yaaaay! I'm sure he'll love this material, then - he could certainly use it!

It's adorable! And it's nice to see both Abe and Mihashi loosening up a bit...(Yay, only five minutes! Eeeeee!)

I usually get it cut to roughly around the bottoms of my ears, so having it as long as I did actually makes my neck itch...it drives me insane.

I like Kako's new band, by the way.

Oh, Figueroa. I hope he stays on in the minors and does well so he can come up again. The weather was against him, the Nats were like cheerleaders distracting him, and... well, okay, honestly, the only excuse I can think of is the weather, which made it harder for him to grip the ball since he's a finesse pitcher. I'm very disappointed in him. Maybe bullpen assignment in the future?

It was good while it lasted.

Pagan on the DL.

(At least Joe Smith is staying with the club over Sosa.)

Did you get to see Archuleta sing "With You"? When he sang "my boo", I LOLed.

Bullpen assignment wouldn't be a bad idea, actually...I'd imagine that they could always stand to get some extra help. (Our bullpen isn't holding up particularly well right now, either...)

I saw! I was so sad...I've just gotten home, and I was looking forward to seeing him. At least it's not a long stint...

(From what I've seen of Sosa since I've been home, I have to agree.)

I did! It just...didn't work. I don't know why he went with it...

He went with it because it was probably forced on by his overbearing father it's contemporary.

Oh, that's right - I heard about his father on the radio! That's just disturbing...

(saves the macros) You just can't have too many of them!

It's refreshing to see that he's totally not fairweather, too! He's sticking with the Royals like that...it's fun. (I can't quite get into them, either, but it's nice to see he's a fan...)

Srsly, though, the Royals? Not the Cardinals? Well, he grew up around KC and worked at Kauffman Stadium, but *dude*.

Yeah, I see what you mean! The Cardinals would make more sense...then again, I'm a Sox fan from New Jersey, so I guess he's allowed, considering he lives closer to his team than I do...
