New update! *dances* I've said before but I really like the scene with Davis and how the morning started out awkward and slowly unwinding back to the same comfort level they had before. The whole purple talk was so Charlie!

It works I think... they have this way of dealing with awkward situations and it helped that they were at work because Dani deals with awkward situations by throwing cop speak around *or* burying herself in the work until she feels confident.

She sure does bury herself in work. That's why I picked the beach, so she could be at work and also have some not at work feelings. LOL

- Now THAT'S awkward! Yeeesh. But that brings to mind something I've been wondering about after toggling between your fic and adlervan's. I've been wondering how Crews and Reese's work life would be affected by them hooking up. Would they try to keep it a secret for awhile? I kinda hope they would just so that they could keep working together because they both know they make a great team. I mean, does it matter that they're doing each other if they can still do their jobs as partners?

I think that i would be incredibly awkward if they ever go together.

I know I've said it before, but while I enthusiastically ship them in fiction, I don't really ship them (YET) in the show. Yet. And, did I mention, YET? LOL

I think when they get together, they may have a wonderful night together, but in the cold light of day....it aint gonna be pretty.

I loved your splitted-in-two Charlie: his words and his thoughts...I often think that on-screen the writer tries to do the same with their glances: non-verbal message, girls, non-verbal message! ^____^

uh, and, for what is worth it, I really loved that in the same week you and adlervan used past events in your new chapters: we understand the connections because we all know (I'm sure) all the chapters by heart! We have a common background, I feel like I'm at home with friends!
