I rather like them when they bloom, and the seed pods are rather nice, in a sort of um...testicular...way, afterwards. However, the big clumps of leaves are so ugly without the flowers, and they take up so much space. Fortunately, I understand that the leaves are great for papermaking, and that if one makes friends with a papermaker, it's easy to get rid of the trimmings from the clumps!
