h-hopefully this is okay ;;selfdeludedJune 20 2010, 21:59:30 UTC
[it isn't that he recognizes the laughter, really - hasn't seen enough bad or insane moods of the person he thinks it belongs to to properly recognize it as his - but the placement in the Dressing Room is too close to be a coincidence. isn't it? right near that room, barely a hall away. and if it wasn't him then Allen would get out of there like a bat out of Dodge, but if it was--
well. he'd figure that out somewhere along the line.
it's almost sneaky, the way he peeks around the corner of the hall, though there's little point in keeping that up once he sees the source of the laughter. of course, he can't see the other boys face, but the Fourteenth Noah - the one that he knows, at least - seems like a very difficult person to mistake for someone else. And Allen almost sighs, lifting a hand to run through his hair before he finally moves further into the hall, only stopping when he was a foot or two away from Fourteenth.
unsure, awkwardly, he speaks up.] ...Hey. [which is probably the lamest thing he could have come up with, but

Who else, really, would be sitting next to that particular room, laughing like a maniac? ..Okay, so Fourteenth may not seem like that type of person at first glance. But you can only judge a person so far just by looking at them.
And as the type of person he is, in this particular mood, he doesn't notice any approaching presences until it's-- too late. Too late.
The laughter stops almost immediately, as soon as he realizes that someone's here. Should've gone into that room and locked it up. That might've been a better idea.
He looks up, blinking. No longer smiling, no longer laughing, just.. a tiny bit confused. Surprised, to see Allen again.
Unfortunately, that was Allen's exact thought on the matter - though it wasn't so much the laughter that made him think it was Fourteenth as it was the general location. ...though, if the little eye thing from the last time they'd run into each other (before this strange memory wipe, before the blood stained room, before Fourteenth forgot who the hell he was--) had been any indication, then the Noah was probably a lot less sane than even Allen had properly given him credit for

<3~ you can use whichever format you want. P: just so you know.14th_rhapsodyJune 20 2010, 23:40:45 UTC
He does try to appear as normal as possible. It raises less questions and it isn't as bad for the others around him-- and he does care for the safety of those people, even if he doesn't care about them in general. Sanity is as sanity does. Fourteenth knows what he's doing, how it's affecting people-- at least, he thinks he does. He hopes so.
"It'll be harder to clean off if they're any lazier." A soft laugh. Joking? Perhaps. Personal experience. Part of him hopes the room will never be cleaned. The other part wants the remains of the stupid Inspector to just disappear for good. He might even take up the job himself if it stays that way for any longer.
Fourteenth knows what Allen means to ask. He justs nods faintly, lifting that same ashen hand to rub the blood away from his forehead. No more scratching, not when Allen's here. He doesn't have to come off as any more crazy than he already is.
"I.. figured I'd pay him a visit." A smile, tilting his head towards the room. "Dead people can get lonely, too."
