[Well, someone from the church has to play counter weight to Maxwells grump act. You can very distinctly hear Abel munching on candy, and the sound of something hollow being tossed away now and again.]

[3 Only understands Halloween because of the information he had already stored about it, but this candy! Now, that was something else.

[3 doesn't think he can eat either. :[ So, he shakes his head, taking the tootsie roll.

His eyes flicker as he inspects it. Once he's done he looks up briefly, 3's eyes flickering again as if to say 'You can eat this?' ]

I can eat it, it's pretty good actually. It's... not terribly healthy, but... [He unwraps another tootsie roll and pops that into his mouth]

It just tastes so good!

Considering the fact that this place doesn't seem to have a dentist, I hope you're caring for your teeth. Sugary foods are terrible for them, after all.

... And you know... I kind of have to say it, at least... I mean, there are at least a few people who will take it into account, right? I mean, not everyone will just go out out now and toilet paper someones house because I said don't do it. [Let him have his faith in humanity!]

Well, of course not everyone will go out and do something silly like that. Still, it is awfully tempting for some people, I imagine.

Well of course it's tempting. Maybe warning against it will push those on the fence in the right direction. Those who go the other way probably would have done it anyway.

I really don't know. But they showed up around the same time as the candy. I'm going to guess it's the scientists getting bored and fooling around. But hey, they dropped off candy and if all they do is stick a few doll heads on the walls, it's not really that big a deal.

You should! I mean... I can give you some of my candy and you can pass the treats out to the children here. It could be fun!

Thank heaven for that, someone needs to be on night patrol for this day. I'm sure there are a few who will take advantage of this night in less than festive ways.

You're telling me. He's just very devout. It's a worth admiring a little, I mean. He believes so firmly and follows it all to a T. Really that's what we did at home too, but I always enjoyed the cute little Halloween celebrations. [Because there's CANDY]

Devout doesn't bother me. He could stand to be a little less intimidating about it, though. After all, that's no way to win the souls of the unbelievers, hm?

That... seems to be the way he and Anderson operate. [He could tell just from Anderson, actually]

I don't think he knows any better. The most we can do is just be gentle towards him and hope that it catches on. I hardly intend on arguing with him about this.

But... no, you're right. You get more bees with honey after all.
