Meanwhile, in the next room over of the (conveniently secluded, 'my parents are out of town for the weekend') house, there was trouble brewing. Or well, more trouble than was to be expected in a space crammed full of hormonal, drunken teenagers escaped from parental supervision ( ... )

He had to move eventually, Roxas figured. One of the many speakers laid about the place was right next to him, and his head was beginning to pound from the noise. There were various tastes in music, and so three different songs were currently blaring across the house, causing a mixture that was profoundly distasteful to the ear, whether you liked the songs or not ( ... )

Vanitas, himself, wasn't much impressed with the group of passed out or otherwise stupefied bodies strewn about, even going so far as to kick aside a hand or two that tried to latch onto his ankle. It was almost disgusting to him, how low these idiots sank just to lose control over themselves, whether it was through drugs or alcohol or sex. How they'd whine and cling to anything that moved, just to forget how meaningless their lives were ( ... )

Ventus, Roxas' cousin (as if the identical similarities between the two didn't give that away), had a way with being sunshine, lollipops and rainbows to everyone he met. He was just naturally naive to the faults of others, the type of kid that it was hard to peg any wrongs on, because it just wasn't his way ( ... )
