[It was a bittersweet return. Roxas could hardly believe, could barely comprehend that it had been almost two months since he had been in Twilight Town. The streets were the same; so where the people, neighbors he'd known all his life but hadn't and- maybe he shouldn't have asked to come back.
But he and Sora needed a break. There was only so much two people could do on their own, and though they'd done so well to get this far- unnaturally so, subconsciously reacting to any danger or injury presented to the other without so much as a hint of mercy- he feared that the two of them were beginning to feel somewhat burnt out.
Maybe he'd just wanted to relax somewhere familiar but... this place hurt, too. He kept quiet as he walked beside Sora along the streets, gaze directed at the ground in front of him. He didn't want to see anyone he had- never had- known.]
