I'm sort of like that with tv shows, too. Generally I can't watch more than one or two 'live' without falling behind so usually I just wait until they have a season or two under them and then shotgun the fuckers. The Walking Dead is next on that list.
It has its advantages and disadvantages, with fandom. Waiting means that if/when I do decide to look for fic, there will be way more there. But watching live means I get to actively participate in the community and stuff. Which, granted, might not be an advantage to everyone. ;p
Glad you're having fun with Tumblr! And I hope your writing troubles go away, that stuff gets frustrating as hell.
Okay so. I feel horrible right now because I basically convinced you to book the flight on the promise that I could get you to and fro and now I probably can't because I wasn't supposed to have classes this mod and then they threw me at them. :-(
However if you *do* decide to spend Thursday night in Seattle then I could definitely pick you up Friday morning if you don't want to take the bus. I don't have classes then.
