Over on el twitter, aldehyde linked to this cracked article on 5 major cities that are going to be destroyed. Kind of amusing, considering one of them is my hometown. Anyway, it reminded me of something ( Read more... )

IKR?

Seeing such a perfect, platonic ideal of a volcano was this weirdly delightful moment for my class. When I was a kid I visited Hawaii with my parents and was really disappointed by the crater of Mauna Loa. It's just a big hole in the ground! It didn't look at all what cartoons had led me to believe a volcano looked like!

Mount Mayon (the volcano by Legazpi) was very satisfying.
