As a kid I always thought world trade centers would be cool and full of like, awesome imported things like saris and Japanese candy and things. I was SOOOO disappointed when I went to the Chicago World Trade Center and it was full of dentist offices.

I should note, I did know the "Twin Towers" - but if you'd asked me what the World Trade Center was, I would have gone "?".

For better reference, my sister hadn't either, and she would have been twelve.

I was 15, but we visited them when in NYC and I had a cousin who worked there and my dad worked in them at some point.
