SO MUCH TV!

I've been watching Flashforward, which I really like except it's hard to get over all the Lost people on it. It's like, NOOOO, PENNY I mean, Olivia....

Also, don't know if Glee holds any interest for you, but it's a personal favorite. Definitely not as intellectually stimulating as, oh, anything, but still a very feel-good show. And it has some fantastic one-liners. And Jane Lynch. Let's see...if you're a Firefly fan, you might like Castle, which is Nathan Fillion's current show; there have been a couple great Firefly references.

I hope I helped!

I actually watched Flashforward for a while when it first started up earlier this (academic) year! But then it went on hiatus and I didn't really bother to find out when it was starting again. I thought it was a little slow-paced when it started. Has it picked up at all?

Ooh, I might get into Glee. My brother really likes it, it could be a bonding experience for us lol. Plus, like all sentient beings, I love me some Jane Lynch. :D

I've been meaning to look into Castle, since Nathan Fillion is such a badass!

Thanks, this has been really helpful! :)

I think Flashforward is a little more cerebral than it is fast-paced. I definitely see what you mean by 'slow'. I wouldn't say it's significantly picked up from pre-hiatus.

I love Castle. Here, have some lulz:

OMG THAT IS SO AWESOME!!! Seriously, I was stifling laughter so my roommate wouldn't get weirded out by me like she tends to do lol.

YES THERE ARE COWS IN SPACE. JEEZ, IT'S LIKE SHE DIDN'T SEE THE COW EPISODE OR SOMETHING.

AND NO ONE. SHOULD EVER. MOVE ON. EVER.

OMG a Cara gif first thing in the morning!!! (shhh I know it's actually 2pm, don't judge).

The feminist in you is going to flip over Legend of the Seeker. Seriously, this show revolves around two women and how badass they are, and Cara...Cara is the most awesome person to ever AWESOME!!

I actually wasn't that big a fan of season 1 but season 2 is just one big hdkjafjhkajdfjasjdkfajkhf!

Sweet! I really need some empowering television right now methinks. And I agree with you about Cara, if that .gif is anything to go by XD. Lol that gif is literally THE ONLY THING I know about the show.

It's going to be weird with Lost over soon, sigh. Last week's episode didn't really impress me other than Desmond pwning a certain you know who with a car.

I highly, highly recommend Chuck. I love that show to pieces. It's fast paced, witty, extremely geeky, and pokes fun at all the other spy shows you've watched. Plus, Jayne is in it!!! It's the one show I watch live every Monday night.

Fringe I watch off and on, I'm just sort of meh about it, but I'll watch nonetheless. Mostly because of Walter, he's hilarious. Legend of the Seeker is awesome but has some corny moments. Still worth watching though.

I'd also recommend: BSG, Supernatural, Misfits and Glee. Especially Glee.

I haven't really heard much about Chuck, but I really like the idea of the premise. And I didn't know Jayne was on it! That's so awesome!

It's weird because everything I hear about Fringe is so divergent. People seem to either love it and think it's the best show ever, or hate it and think it's a waste of screen time.

Heehee, I will definitely give Glee a try. My brother really likes it, and he and I have pretty similar taste in television.

Jayne, well John Casey, is hilarious. Especially for his gun collection and equal love of killing things. And instead of, "i'll be in my bunk" it's "I'll go warm up the Vic" (cop car). Good times.

TRUE BLOOD. IS. AMAZING.

I watched the first episode around a friends house and didn't take a liking to it, but when the first series was on C4 I thought I'd give it another chance and I do not regret a thing! It's absoloutely fantastic.

If you're going to watch anything, watch that ;)

(with the exception of The Thick of It of course!) ♥

Yay! Sounds good. Plus, anything to redeem vampires after Twilight raped them so hard. I'll totes give it a whirl.

The Thick of It is now at 59% dowloaded on my BitTorrent. This is my offical "Fuck You" to exams, lol. I'm not even pretending I intend to study today haha.

Eee, by any chance could you share where you found that torrent?

The bf and I just watched In the Loop without realizing there was a whole tv show, lol. Peter Capaldi is amazing.

I'm supposed to be writing a paper...but very much neglecting it.

Here it is! You'll have to ignore the creepy pictures of topless girls :S

I think it's only the first six episodes actually. The PirateBay doesn't seem to have anything other than series 3, so I had to go elsewhere.
