The old man behind the bar gave Ahamo a look as the younger man took a swig of the contents of his small glass. Even he wasn't dumb enough to believe the woman would hold up her end of the bargain, was he? Granted, this wasn't the first time the two of them struck a deal in his presence.
But this was the first time the man was concerned even for his own safety.
"You really think this is a good idea?" he asked, knowing it wasn't his place to interfere.
Ahamo nodded to the glass and shrugged. "We'll see."
