"You sure this is a good idea, Wyatt?" Adora asked, pulling on his arm. They were just at the edge of the clearing and could see her father near the barn, his echoing laugh mixing with the smell of cooked meat and the glow of lanterns.
"We have every right to be there, 'dor," Wyatt assured her, nodding her along.
"I don't want a fight," she pleaded, still pulling him back.
"I've got no quarrel with him, 'dor."
"He's got one with you," she warned.
"Let’s go down and we'll see," Wyatt smiled, as the men had already made peace.
