I always find it amusing when I read fics that mention Cain's tanned skin. I'm like: "Tan? What tan? Neal has fairer skin than I do and I live in South Florida!"

I know how sunburns feel too. OUCH.

My arms and face are semi-tanned, but my legs are white as sheets. o.O And I WEAR shorts. Speaking of, I may lay out on our hammock and maybe the sun and fresh air will help with my cold. Hmmmm...

I seem to repel the sun even when I worked in outdoor Merchandise at Disney.
And I'm part Italian.
Both my siblings tan well though.

And Cain would more likely burn then tan, unless he went out just to get a tan.

Poor Cain. I can see how he'd get sunburn since the world has more powerful ultraviolent rays.
Looks as if Cain's not going anywhere as he's probably gonna be sick for a couple of days.

I've got to balance the chapters... this scene is nearly 3000 words (of which this is the first 1500ish), and I don't want two medium, one long and one short, etc...
