I literally didn't see this movie until this year because he-who-must-not-be-named said it was super cringey in a Song of the South way (he also said it made him feel bad for being white when he was Mexican, so maybe I shouldn't have taken his word anyway), but I loved it! I think I watched it twice in the same weekend when ABC Family had one of their let's-play-the-same-two-movies-on-a-loop weekends.

They just started a new stage show at Magic Kingdom that is very Tiana-centric, which is awesome especially because there's practically ZERO merch for her

I don't blame you for freaking out- I am the exact same with Belle. They have a Tiana character, right? I'd be kind of sad if they didn't.
Also, not related but thinking about meeting Belle just brought up this memory- I've only been to WDW once, as a senior in high school (we led the big Magic Kingdom parade and thought we were very cool and important- I mean, Jiminy Frickin' Cricket announced us!). My bff and I were walking through France at Epcot stalking Belle, and Clopin from Hunchback of Notre Dame was around, and all of a sudden I heard him talking shit about my friend to someone else in French (to be fair, she was wearing army fatigues, a long sleeved baseball jersey, and yellow-lensed sunglasses and her main goal for our time at Epcot was to "take a picture with a real Canadian.") BUT. I was in French V and understood everything he was saying! I let him talk for a while then rounded on him and, in French, told him I understood everything he was saying and that he was
