Pennsylvania Pantry - a Remember WENN Spinoff

Pennsylvania Pantry
In the late 1930s, Pittsburgh, PA is an exciting place to be! Unless, that is, you're at Pennsylvania Pantry. With the competition squeezing them from both sides, this little hometown company is fighting to keep its place. With their trademark nightcap - Cup-o-Comfort - being shown up by Dutch Uncle Cocoa, Pennsylvania Pantry needs to find its' niche.
Mr. Medwick, owner of Pennsylvania Pantry, has his sights set on sticking with local radio station WENN, while his son, George, knows the company needs to expand its horizons into coffee, to challenge Ingrams Coffee. With his father loyal to the station, George must find a way to make a profit while convincing his father to consider widening their product line.
George Medwick
George Medwick (Neal McDonough) was working in the steel mills when his father asked him to take over the day-to-day management of Pennsylvania Pantry. He's got a mind for business, but not always the patience. He knows that his father thinks the world of him, but George is finding it hard to live up to the myth. His best friends are Thomas and Annie Boyd, whom he's known most of his life.
Charlotte Mitchell
Charlotte (Charlize Theron) is the executive secretary at Pennsylvania Pantry. She knows more about what's going on within the company than most of the employees, and is doing everything she can to help make George's life easier. What's not so easy, though, is that she kinda loves him.
Thomas Boyd
Thomas (Mike Rowe) is a second-generation steel mill worker, and has been best friends with George Medwick since they were both twelve. Thomas is married to Annie, his high school sweetheart, and they have no children. He is a die-hard Pirates fan.
Annie Boyd
Annie Boyd (Amy Adams) met her husband in high school and they couldn't be more opposite. She always dreamed of being a famous singer, though she's never made it past singing at a few local events. Nearly half the size of her husband, Annie may be small, but she's a spitfire when she gets angry. Annie has become friends with Charlotte, as she regularly checks in on George, to make sure he's eating.
Charles Dalworth
Charles (Alan Cumming) is the pride of Ingrams Coffee. He's got all the local businesses eating out of his hand; he can seal a sponsorship with a flashed smile and a handshake. What's worse is that he knows how great he is. And his sights are set on Pennsylvania Pantry - if you can't beat them, buy them.
Mr. Medwick
Mr. Medwick (Bob Dorian) is the owner of Pennsylvania Pantry, makers of Cup-o-Comfort, the nutritious nightcap. And, in the near future, Agitato, the newest caffeinated beverage for those on the night shift. He's got a soft spot in his heart for the staff over at radio station WENN.
