"Focus, DG." DG rolled her eyes - again - and huffed - again - as she stood in the center of the library with Tutor.
"This isn't going to work," she breathed, finally looking up to Tutor.
"It won't work if you don't let it," Tutor instructed. "You need to focus. Harness the light and then... project out," he continued, motioning away from himself. DG shook her head again and closed her eyes. So far, all she'd managed to do was shatter a vase.
"Clear your mind, DG. Think only of the light," Tutor said calmly. DG nodded and took in a deep breath.
