Summary: DG's slipped away from her guard. Again.

The old woman at the desk's head popped up at the sound of the small bell over the door. Her eyes went wide at the sight of the younger princess standing in her shop.
"Please," DG said quickly, throwing up her hands. "Don't freak out. Every time I go somewhere, everyone freaks out." Nodding, the woman could see the girl looked frustrated beyond a simple expression of surprise.
"I just need to hide out for a few minutes," DG sighed, glancing quickly to the door behind her.
Nodding to DG, the woman held up a teapot.
"Yes, please," DG smiled.

DG found that the old lady - Fawn, was her name - had lived in Central City her entire life and had grown up in the very shop they were sitting in. DG told Fawn about the antique stores in Kansas, which were eerily similar to Fawn's shop, and Fawn told DG stories about the items in the shop, from the clothing to the knickknacks.
She also enjoyed learning that, massive differences aside, The Zone was pretty much the same as Kansas.
The bell chimed again.
"Don't freak out, Tin Man," DG sighed without looking up. "I'm catching up on my history."
