Only to nearly drop it in surprise when he saw a shadowed figure making it's way towards the house.
"Hell," he whispered, unable to make out the shape but fearing the worst.
Hurrying back over to the steps, he went to wake up Kirin, shaking him quickly.
"Kirin," he hissed. "Wake up."
