A rougish smile. "Candice, you aren't implying that I'm fucking the boss, are you?"

Not that such a thing was necessarily a turn-off. Thompson had such a nice, large desk after all.

"I don't imply," she grinned right back. It wasn't any of her business, but it office gossip was a way to pass the time - and to help her think of Thompson and Bennet as something more than the people who put her and the ones she loved in danger.
