Harry went from dead asleep to wired and confused the second his cell phone started blaring its fucking annoying ringtone.

He scrabbled briefly at his night table, before realizing that his phone was in the pocket of the pants he'd been wearing the day before. So he staggered out of bed, crossed to the bathroom, and snapped the phone open a second before it went to voicemail.

"Harry Lockhart, L.A.P.I. Hi."

"Um, hey."

Zach blinked. This had been a really bad idea.

But what else was new.

"It's Zach, from, um, Lifestyles." So gay.

Harry blinked. "Zach? Zach! Hi. Good to, uh, hear from you. Even if it is..." He quickly flashed his phone to eye level, and back to his ear, "-6:37 PM. Wow, how the fuck did that happen? So, yeah, what's- what's going on?"

Zach chuckled; a cold, hollow sound.

Oh, you know. Broke up with just about the only person I've ever cared about, and now am wandering the streets of New York, homeless...

"N-not much." Nice cover. "I was wondering.. if you wanted to go somewhere? Talk about.. um, stuff."

"Uh, yeah, sure. When? Where?" Great, now you sound like an overeager stalker.

"I mean, I'm pretty much free for-" whenever you want "-a while."
