"Disbelief?" She quipped, arching an eyebrow. "Would that come with a side-order of denial, or do you only serve that during lunch break?"

"Oh no, ma'am. Denial only comes when you order 3 dozen batches of bull shit," he smiled. He was dumb.

"Sorry about that," he continued. "Just didn't expect to run into you again."

She smiled slightly. "For a big city it seems pretty small."

He laughed at that. "Tell me about it." went quiet for a minute or so, trying to find out what to say. It hit him then, a second after he started his thought train.

"I never did get your name," he told her.

She nodded toward the menu. "Got any coffee?"
