Jimmy wandered down the hallway, his gymbag slung over one shoulder. He was already dressed for practice, finding it economical on time to change during lunch so he could warm up a little bit before everyone else. Spotting Jackie at her locker, he gave a small wave as he passed by.

"Don't you have practice to go to, Princess?" he asked, turning on his heel to walk backwards but not stopping in his trek to the athletic center.

She looked up at the sound of his voice. "Not until six" she said slamming the locker shut and walking to catch up with him. "But you're off in a hurry. Getting there ahead of the team for some alone time?"

"Yeah, and if coach wants to bitch me out he can without an audience." he winked, laughing. "Have a good day out?"

"It was OK, I guess" she said. "The pool was pretty much a bust. Couldn't really get into swimming today for some reason." she sighed. "I did hit up the mall though. Picked up something nice for the next victory party." Jackie paused a moment. "Actually... it might be a little too nice for just a plain party. I might wear it to Homecoming." Again, she paused.

"Are you going?" she asked him. "To Homecoming."

Jimmy stuck out his bottom lip and tilted his head to the side in thought. "I haven't really thought that far. Probably."

As was tradition, he was most likely going to be dragged there by the other members of the basketball team without dates, and their posse would loiter around in the crowd in hopes they don't give off the unpopular 'wallflower' aura.
