Joey was on his third cup of home-brewed coffee, decidedly not decaf when the buzzer rang. He jerked a bit, setting the mug down before walking over and buzzing Lance in. He knew it was Lance. He'd been by often enough it was doubtful it was anyone else.

Also because Joey had seen him that afternoon. He wrinkled his nose in remembrance. That had not been something he'd been prepared for. He wasn't sure what he'd expected int eh first place but that...had not been it. He was back on the couch, sipping coffee when Lance came in.

"Hey."

"Hey," he greeted, slipping out of his coat and tossing it over the back of the couch as he went to sit next to the other man.

"Watching anything good?"

He leaned his head against the blonde's shoulder, trying to focus in on whatever it was that was on the TV.

"Law & Order," he replied, leaning back a little into the touch. "SVU."

He quirked a smile. "Munch's theories are awesome."

Lance snorted, hand wandering absently over Joey's leg.

"Yeah. Benson's hot."

Joey rolled his eyes. "Like her with best with short hair. It's cute."

He glanced down at Lance's hand wondering why he had the slight urge to shove it off. In stead he took long drag of coffee.
