Niki couldn't sleep. It didn't help that over the past few days, there were mysterious patches in her memory that seemed to be missing completely. That didn't seem like a normal side effect of insomnia, but what did she know about stuff like that? With a sigh, she climbed out of bed, not bothering to get dressed more than throwing on a light robe

XXXNikki4u: Not too bad. You?

It was a blatant lie on Niki's part, but it wasn't like she was about to unburden her personal troubles to a stranger over the internet. Especially not a client.

Ando smiled and took one last sweeping look at the office.

huggerz69: so the usual amount?

Niki's lips curved into a smile almost instantaneously. Good, now they were getting down to business. As nice as this particular client had always been, a rare kind of genuine friendliness and (dare she say it?) sweetness, but time was money. And Niki just wasn't all that great with small talk.

XXXNikki4u: Yeah, the usual.

She paused, fingertips hovering over the keyboard in her usual method of search-and-poke. Computers were Micah's thing. Niki at least prided herself on not being one of those individuals who had to prod with their two index fingers, though.
