“It’s perfectly simple, Jamie,” Zoe said in her most patronising voice. “You just put that in there and that in there!”
“Aye, I know that!” Jamie growled, trying not to fold his arms sulkily. “I know exactly how to do it, It’s just complicated, all right?”
“I am aware it’s complicated to you,” Zoe said, shaking her head at him. “But really Jamie, it’s a perfectly simple process if you'd only listen to what I say.”
“Simple! Have ye looked at it? I mean, all right, the basics aren’t that hard but if ye actually exactly pay attention instead of swanning around with your head in the clouds, ye’d see it was much harder than you think!”
“Jamie, sometimes you really are impossible. Look, I’ll show you. This goes here, that goes there … ”
“Hey, get your hands off!”
“Jamie, stop being so awkward!”
“Och, you’ve gone and made it wilt now!”
“Hello, you two!” the Doctor said brightly, bouncing into the room. “How are those easy do-it-yourself Christmas decorations coming on then?”
