...I had to rewrite eighth four times before I got the right spelling and my true love gave me eight masquerades, seven unwilling observers, six questions asked, five skeletons, four things that puzzle, three special treats, two changed directions, and one protective shield.

Awww, I really liked the tricky emotional situations portrayed in the ones about Luke, Quico and Joe. In each one there was a real sympathetic quality to them and the issues felt real and difficult. And I really liked the Chell one, I really like the portrayal of her as adaptable/masquerading and learning to survive all over again.

And the death masks made me smile!
