[Title] Hollow Victory [Fandom] Battle Royale [Rating] PG-13 for sex [Notes/Summary] Shou/Kazuo. Shou is fascinated by Kazuo's masquerade, or lack of it.
YAY Shou/Kazuo! Oh Kazuo, you are creepy and Shou is kind of quietly practical about it all. I love the last line so much, it's hilarious. Yes, enjoy that sex, Shou
( ... )
I think Shou has the right idea really. And he clearly knows full well Kazuo is not a person who one can count on for undying loyalty!
I really enjoyed writing the Animorphs one, thanks for the prompt ^^ I just realised that Tobias was keeping well out of it all and then I was like "... oh. Well, that's a downer".
With the Raito one I thought that not many people have gone through the death of a parent at a comparatively young age but Raito's lack of empathy towards Aizawa's children about this experience he intends them to share with him is pretty interesting. If, you know, terrible. So I'm really glad I got that reaction from you ^^
So glad you liked the Hathaway one, I was like "not sure where I'm going with this exactly...?" Hathaway is an odd person to write emotions for, not least because I don't think he quite knows what he's feeling sometimes...
And I am of course MOST GLAD you felt Kazuo/Tony was okay. It's a terrible, terrible idea and I only hope nobody dies :D
Yay! More Shou! I am very pleased to have discovered a new character to enjoy reading so much this year.
The Animorphs one is very good at encapsulating the whole teenage bickering - then the last line is kind of sad.
Kai/Yamagata is sweet, even if Yamagata does not seem like a person for whom that descriptive would apply :)
I have loved the increased Skins appearance this year - it's been years since I watched Skins (I didn't realise there were 7 seasons and it ran to 2013 because I didn't even bother watching until the end of the second batch of characters - I liked JJ and Cook but not enough to finish watching).
I am ridiculously happy that you are appreciating Shou's Shou-ness. Thank you!
No, Yamagata is not sweet at all (he is in my icon on a motorbike about to hit someone with an iron bar) but he lends himself to fluffiness when I'm feeling pleasant :D
Oh, cool, I didn't realise you knew the series! I've only seen S1 and I want to watch S2 at some point but then I'm not sure I'll be motivated to go past that to a new set of characters (sounds like you weren't that motivated by them either!)
I grew up in the West Country so when Skins came out, being based in Bristol and everything, the people I was at university with insisted I watch it with them. I have to say that Bill Bailey's portrayal as Max's dad sounds a lot like people I knew growing up. I did not have such an exciting upbringing, though, but getting hold of weed in the south-west is probably just as easy as portrayed in the show.
The first set of characters is definitely the best. The second set of characters get more ridiculous with the kind of things they get up to, and by reading the quick synopsis of the third set of characters it got so daft that they lost a lot of viewers. I watched the first half of the second season because one of the characters, JJ, was meant to have Aspergers and I wanted to see that portrayal (it was reasonable) and because I liked Jack O'Connell's acting.
Yeah, I never had anything like as exciting a life when I was in sixth form (although I was in the south - maybe the south-west is different :D )
Your assessment of the show pleases me - I can watch the second season with enjoyment and then bail with no guilt! I didn't even know there was a third set of characters...
