I'm assuming Ben is Luke and Mara's son. I haven't read that far into the Extended verse. I like the picture it summoned up an "Ahh, how sweet" out of me. ^_^

That is correct. It's kinda funny and that Luke and Mara had kids so late in life. It means that Ben's cousins (Solos) are about 2 decades older than him. Jacen and Ben have an informal arragement as master and apprentice. The two of them give me the "awww"s too. ^_^

Holy cow, a 20 year difference in age? It's not surprising that Luke could have kids in his old age but women have a expiration date. ^^;; I'm surprised that Mara was still able to have kids. Since you said kids does that mean Luke and Mara have more than one?

Nope. Ben's still an only child. However, according to an interview with Dark Nest author Troy Denning, the health technology is so much better there, that in Lucas's galaxy, 120 is the retirement age. Since humans have such longer life-spans in that fandom, it's still possible for Luke and Mara to pop out another one!
