Not exactly. I would not say my shadow was my "dark side" but rather my fears and insecurities displayed and exposed. My shadow acted in a way to show the parts of myself that I am least comfortable with. Even now that I have made peace with those things, I don't act like my shadow--the behavior was distorted and amplified.

Do you understand?
