And here we have the long-overdue translation of that article I posted a few weeks ago. Please forgive the awkwardness of the prose; this thing was a bitch to translate and the version I'm posting here isn't polished at all.

Very interesting...at least the middle part:) Much easier to understand in English. But: It must be known at last that the dead and wounded were taken to the Hotel-Dieu;. Does this mean there actually was a hotel called Dieu, or is it like Hotel de Ville? And does that make it a church?

Hotel Dieu is a hospital in Ile-de-Cite.(hotel here means building,and yes,it's used the same way in Hotel de Ville)
