Oh wow! I never expected to come across an Egyptian Mythology story in any fandom I read it.

I love the modernisation and the threat of something just out of the corner of the reader's eye.

Ok, so I just stumbled across this because I had the urge to read your wingfic again (which I love, btw - as I'm not sure now If I commented there or not any of the first 10 times...) and am appalled you don't have more comments here.

I've got to say how much I appreciate how you did this.

I've been writing (perpetually - it's been in limbo for a few years) a more traditional 'scales' story for another fandom (it works for the fandom it is) so I always love to see someone else working with that material.

I really appreciate how you've updated and alluded to the mythos without being too heavy handed about it. The general feel of the piece is also brilliant and well handled. Very nice. ;) Now, exscuse me while I just favorite this link...
