Wow--absolutely gorgeous story. I love the use of the fairy tales especially. The writing style is lovely; the flow and timing is perfect throughout with beautiful detail. Each scene you presented seemed so purposeful and just the right amount of storytelling. So, so well done!

Thank you! I haven't really pimped this story much, since my life is kind of haywire right now too (o hay there grad school!!1!) plus, well, Kate/Ashley is not exactly the most popular pairing in the fandom. (It kind of sounds like incest RPS about the Olsen twins, dunnit?) But thank you for the kind words!

HOLY GOD. This is beautiful and fabulous and so very Kate and everyone--their voices come through so strongly in this. I've just spent the last, um, while devouring this because I simply couldn't stop.

I love how the fairy tale bits link everything together and how it's a story of hope and ideas, dreams and love.

This is by far my favorite Sanctuary femslash paring, too. *happy dance*

Woderful: "I became pregnant long before I was ready to become a mother. I kept Ashley in stasis for years, even convinced myself it was for her own protection-from her father, from my work-until one day I ran out of excuses." Her smiled slipped. "I have never regretted bringing her into the world, and I cherish every day we had together, but I do not think I will ever quite forgive her for leaving me."

Hilarious: "Kate's plan was all halfassed and crazy and involved the use of duct tape."

I LOVE HAPPY ENDINGS! Beautiful.
