OMG OMG it's brilliant! Better than anything I'd imagined when I gave you the prompt! I'm going to read it over and over and over again!

I especially loved this cause the prompt this was based on it was from the other POV (which would be Merlin's in this). Arthur is just such a ... prat, but also charming at the same time! And Merlin is so adorable, you just want to go in there and hug him! So cute.

And the ending is brilliant!

This is such a gorgeous fic! Thank you so much! Best spent money ever, gave money to charity and got an awesome story!

Thanks! ::bows:: I tried to write this from Merlin's POV, I really did, but it just wouldn't come out right. What does it say about me that I find it so much easier to write Arthur's POV? :-)

Love this story! I completely understand Merlin's travel anxiety - I'm the same way. Unfortunately, I doubt I'll meet my prince the same way ;) I just recently Friended you - I love your Merlin and SGA fics.

Thanks! I am a hugely anxious traveler, especially on planes--I'm always convinced I'm going to get stranded in the airport or arrested by Homeland Security or something. (This story originally had a rant from Merlin about the TSA and Guantanamo Bay, until I realized it sounded too much like certain parts of "Drastically Redefining Protocol.")

*flails* Adorable! I loved Merlin in this, all that awkwardness and angst. I can only imagine how he was on the walk from Ealdor to Camelot. And Arthur was so perfectly Arthur. I love that he stopped taking himself so seriously and took a chance for once. Would LOVE to see what happens next.

Thanks! You know, in a more traditional fantasy Merlin would have totally had wacky adventures on his way to Camelot.

And I find Arthur ridiculously easy to write. Maybe too easy. Um. >.>

Ohhhhh nice. Perfectly endearing and snarky -- "Clearly you cannot be trusted with anything more complex than string." HEE! -- and it's scary how intimate things get on a plane, with people you don't know. I'm imagining the little insights Merlin has now into Arthur's life will make working for him (and under him, hah, I'm so dirty-minded) interesting.

Oh yes.You make such fast friends while traveling--just this weekend on my way to Kansas City I had a long conversation with a woman who used to work for an NGO in Thailand and wanted to know if she could join the Peace Corps once her kids were grown.

And Merlin is going to be calling Will from his hotel room and ranting a LOT. Hee.
