Holy crap, I don't know the fandom at all, but the poem is fucking incredible and that particular quote has been following me around for weeks. Thanks for linking.

You're welcome! I discovered the poem by accident while trying to put together a lesson on Women's History Month (while teaching English in Kazakhstan, where they don't realize that Canada is a) not entirely Francophone and b) not a US state) and it just sticks with me.

I love this so, so much! I've been waiting for some good Clara fic and this is a thousand times better than I could ever have hoped for. Clara is awesome, and you portrayed that perfectly.

When I realized that she was running around the London Sanctuary naked and fighting, I fell madly in love with her. Oh, Clara.

Gah, this is beautiful. There is a serious dearth of Clara fic out there and you wrote her incredibly well. I also loved the poem...just...this. My comments, they are so eloquent.

Thank you! I would've loved Clara to continue on the show as a recurring or even permanent character--not that Kate's not awesome, of course--so I was pretty sore that she died. But the fact that her death was so badass--SHE FIGHTS NAKED OMG--somewhat made up for that.

I would still love some kind of AU and/or fixit fic where Clara, Kate and Ashley took on EVERYONE EVER, but that's just me.
